UK wages are rising at the fastest rate in over a decade, with the average UK salary increasing more than 3.2 per cent in September 2018, and given the skills shortage it’s no surprise that those working in IT & Tech are enjoying some of the biggest wage increases, with c.20% growth in salaries in the past year alone – that’s 6x faster than the average UK wage.
To shed some light on the average earnings of IT & Tech workers in the UK, we crunched the numbers from tech jobs posted by over 500 employers on our recruitment agency marketplace and created our 2019 Salary Guide for the Tech & IT sector.
