Hello and welcome to the June edition of the Hiring Hub product update!
The rain may have poured on us in June, but HH Tech has been motoring through new features, up until the final whistle of Q2.
This quarter was definitely a testing one. Each member of the team had to adapt to working in less than ideal conditions, but despite all the adversity, we made it. Our processes have really come into their own over the past 3 months, and we’re a better team for it. We delivered everything we said we would, and these were some of the biggest and most complex pieces of work our team has worked on. There were late nights and working weekends but we got it done, and our users are loving the new features.
If we could offer any feedback – we’d prefer a less severe ‘necessity’ to be the mother of our inventions next time.
Candidate Reviews
In May, we introduced the newest feature for our recruitment agencies – the candidate review. We’re pleased to announce that this is now live and we’ve had reviews coming in thick and fast!
The purpose of this feature is to enable agencies to enrich their profile on HH with reviews from candidates, so employer users can get a feel for the candidate experience provided by each recruitment agency.

Duplicate Candidates
This month we released a duplicate candidate screening solution for our agency users. Now, when submitting a candidate, the agency will be notified if the candidate matches that of another candidate who has already been submitted for the job.
With this solution, agencies and our account managers will be notified of a potential duplicate candidate. This way, the recruitment agency can contact the candidate to understand if they may be being represented by another recruitment agency, and our account managers can begin investigating.
We believe that this solution will reduce the stress caused when faced with a duplicate candidate for our agencies, and reduce the cognitive load on employer users when reviewing applicants.
Activity Feed for Agencies
The time is finally upon us – the activity feed for our recruitment agency users is ready!
Here’s a sneak peak of what it will look like on the dashboard of our agencies.

For those times you need a little guidance on how to get things done, we’ve created the ‘How to Guide’ for our agency users. It includes a description and screen recording of how to perform key actions within your account, in case you ever need it.
We’ve built it in such a way that when we bring you new features, we can keep adding to the guide, so you’ll always have up to date guidance on how best to use HH.
